Anne has guided Fornaro’s expansion for more than 15 years to include a growing team of experts in multiple disciplines – mortgage & finance brokers, accountants & tax strategists and property specialists. She is responsible for the long term visioning and strategic direction of the Group.

Anne also focuses on managing partner and client relationships and maintains visibility across all client engagements to ensure clients receive the value, experience and success they have come to expect from Fornaro since 2000.

As a qualified mortgage and finance broker, Joe has more than 25 years’ experience in the financial space, which makes him a natural first call when his clients need assistance with finance-related questions. They come to him for his compassion and his knowledge; trusting him to devise, present and execute the perfect solution to achieve their goals.

For Joe, the greatest compliment is hearing a client refer him to a friend with the words, “I just call Joe, and he works it out.”

Julia is qualified in financial planning as well as finance and mortgage broking, and she has a Masters in Applied Finance. But it’s more than 15 years’ real-world experience that has honed her ability to ask the right questions then present logical solutions. It has also given her the skills to provide easy-to-understand explanations of the different lending options available, their benefits and pitfalls, traps to be aware of, and different strategies that can be put in place to maximise future benefits.

Meet our Eleven Property Management Director, Carolyn Lawless.

With over 18 years experience within Property Management, Carolyn is a world-class property management expert, and is responsible for the management of our property management division at Eleven Property and Fornaro.

Carolyn is an extensively experienced property strategist with stand-out communication and negotiation skills, underpinned by her approachable and pragmatic approach to situations. Meeting new people every day and making a real difference in their lives is an opportunity that she warmly embraces.

As a Licensed Real Estate Agent, Carolyn followed her passion into property and joined her family’s business in 2006, going on to work in across Sydney before relocating with her family to Brisbane.

Eleven Property is the property management division of Fornaro.

Donna brings a mix of critical qualities to our accounting team—most importantly a flair for structuring clients’ affairs to minimise tax, while maximising return and growth. She genuinely enjoys preparing financial statements and income tax returns, and radiates a natural enthusiasm that clients find makes the process considerably easier for them.

Donna is on call for clients who want to talk about their individual or business tax strategy and planning requirements.

Bing’s calm and considered approach to working with numbers positions him well in his role as a Senior Accountant with Fornaro. With more than 10 years experience as an accountant, Bing is well placed to manage our clients’ tax compliance requirements. Responsible for individual and self managed superannuation funds, Bing’s role is focused on achieving efficiency and results for clients.

Josh works closely with our Mortgage & Finance clients in the structuring and research for their finance requirements. With high attention to detail and a competitive drive, Josh has highly refined analytical skills that mean if there is a deal there, he will find the way to make it happen for our clients.

With years spent negotiating policy and outcomes with lenders, he is always prepared to go into bat for a client and ensure that every possible avenue has been exhausted in achieving the right outcome for our clients. He is experienced across the full spectrum of finance structures and solutions.

Kyle is a Mortgage & Finance Broker who draws on many years experience in the finance industry to guide clients through their lending journey. He supports clients from the early stages of loan structuring and lender recommendation right through to settlement day. His calm, thoughtful approach helps clients feel informed and supported at every step.

Kyle is a steady presence for his clients in what what can often be a stressful time. His approachable manner and clear communication style helps simplify the complex, ensuring clients feel confident at every stage of the process.

Tyler is a highly capable Senior Credit Analyst whose core focus is structuring and researching finance solutions that align with each client’s objectives. With experience spanning the full breadth of lending scenarios – from straightforward applications to complex, multi‑entity recommendations, he brings a strong analytical mindset to every client he works with.

Known for his meticulous attention to detail, Tyler is numbers‑driven and consistently focused on achieving accurate, well‑considered outcomes. His quiet, steady approach ensures our clients receive the high Fornaro standard at all times. Whether assessing risk, refining structures or supporting brokers with technical insights, Tyler’s precision and reliability underpin the quality of every recommendation he contributes to.

With over six years of experience in financial reporting, business financial management, and forecasting, Akshay brings a meticulous and results-driven approach to managing complex financial operations. His expertise lies in ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and strict compliance with regulatory standards, enabling businesses to make informed financial decisions.

Akshay has a deep understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and tax laws, which allows him to navigate the complexities of financial regulations seamlessly. He excels in managing financial transactions, reconciliations, and audits with a keen eye for detail while consistently meeting critical deadlines.

Beyond his technical skills, Akshay is a trusted accounting & tax specialist who has a calm and considered approach which allows him to build and maintain strong relationships with his clients.

George is a Credit Analyst at Fornaro, bringing a strong foundation in finance and a broad mix of international and client-facing experience.

He holds a Bachelor of Finance and began his career in London, spending three years in asset management consulting. During this time, he developed a disciplined approach to analysing financial structures and understanding how different strategies perform in the real world. He followed this with a year focused on CRM consulting, where he worked closely with businesses to implement systems, drive reportable outcomes, and improve how teams engage with clients. After a year of travel, George relocated to Brisbane – a city he now calls home, having made the decision to purchase property and settle here.

At Fornaro, George plays a key role in modelling and structuring client lending strategies. He works closely with brokers and clients to analyse servicing positions and overall portfolio structure, ensuring every recommendation is grounded in clear, accurate numbers and aligned with lender policies.

He specialises in breaking down complex financial positions and rebuilding them into clean, workable structures, providing clarity around borrowing capacity, structuring options, and the trade-offs behind each decision so clients can move forward with a well-defined and achievable plan aligned to their long-term goals.

George is currently working alongside Tony as he transitions towards becoming a Mortgage & Finance Broker, further strengthening his ability to support clients across the full lifecycle of their lending strategy.

Outside of work, George keeps things active – you’ll usually find him playing football or out running.

Bas works alongside our Brokers as a Mortgage & Finance Associate, managing client finance requirements from initial lender application structuring and negotiations through to settlement and beyond. He liaises closely with both clients and lenders to ensure each finance solution is not only well considered, but strategically aligned with the client’s broader objectives. With a strong attention to detail and a proactive approach, Bas focuses on delivering outcomes that are clear, efficient, and genuinely supportive of long-term financial goals.

Prior to joining Fornaro, Bas spent 14 years working in his family’s business, the New Farm Deli, where he developed a deep understanding of customer service, consistency, and the value of trusted relationships. This experience continues to shape how he approaches his career in Finance today.

He is currently completing a Bachelor of Business (Finance & Economics) at QUT and holds a Diploma of Finance & Mortgage Broking Management, reflecting his ongoing commitment to building both technical expertise and strategic capability.

Bas is particularly drawn to the strategic side of finance and enjoys working with a broad range of clients, each with different goals and circumstances. The dynamic nature of the industry and the constant opportunity to refine and expand his knowledge are key drivers in his day-to-day work.

Outside of work, Bas spends much of his time furthering his study and continuing to develop his knowledge. When he’s not in the books, he enjoys training, watching football, and spending time with family and friends – ideally with a good drop of wine in his glass.
